What You Get When You Come Here
A plain account of what makes working with Pendulora different from the alternatives, without overstating it.
Back to HomeAt a Glance
Six things that consistently matter to people who bring their watches to us.
Seen by a Technician, Not a System
Every watch is physically inspected by the person who will work on it, not evaluated by a form or a category.
Price Stated Before Work Begins
The service price is given at drop-off. If anything changes, you hear about it before it happens.
No Rushing Older Pieces
Watches that have been stored or unused for years are recommissioned gradually — not brought back to full speed in one sitting.
Written Record of Work Done
At collection, you receive a written summary of what was done, which parts were replaced, and any care notes.
Questions Welcome at Any Point
You can call during opening hours if you want an update. We keep brief notes on each job so we can answer properly.
Based in Nonthaburi
We are on Rattanathibet Road, an accessible location that serves people in Nonthaburi and those coming in from Bangkok.
The Specifics
A more detailed look at the things we consider important.
Depth of Technical Knowledge
Our lead technician has spent fifteen years working on mechanical and quartz movements across a wide range of brands and periods. That experience means less guesswork during diagnosis and fewer surprises mid-job.
- Mechanical and quartz movement experience
- Familiar with vintage and older calibres
- Parts sourcing knowledge for discontinued components
A Process That Does Not Skip Steps
Each service follows a fixed sequence: assessment, written findings, customer approval, work, testing, and collection summary. No stage is optional, and no stage is rushed because the next job is waiting.
- Timing checked after every movement service
- Correct lubricants for each area of the movement
- Gradual run-in for stored watches over multiple days
Communication Without Jargon
Not everyone who owns a watch they care about also knows how it works. We explain findings in plain terms, and we take the time to answer questions properly at drop-off and collection.
- Drop-off conversation included for every job
- Written summary at collection
- Updates available by phone during the job
Pricing You Know Before You Commit
All three services have stated prices: ฿3,500 for crown and stem repair, ฿13,500 for the service and refinish package, and ฿28,500 for long-stored watch revival. These are what you pay unless additional work is needed — in which case you hear about it first.
- Prices stated upfront, in Thai baht
- No additional charges without your approval
- Payment by cash or bank transfer at collection
Work That Is Tested, Not Just Completed
A watch that has been serviced is not ready for collection until it has been tested. Timing is checked with a machine, winding and setting are verified, and for stored watches, the gradual run-in is completed before the piece leaves the bench.
- Timing machine check after all movement work
- Crown and stem function verified post-repair
- Multi-day run-in for stored watches before return
How We Compare
A factual look at some common differences between a neighbourhood workshop and a high-volume service centre.
| Feature | High-Volume Centres | Pendulora |
|---|---|---|
| Who assesses your watch | Intake staff with forms | The technician |
| Price transparency | Quoted after assessment | Stated before drop-off |
| Handling of stored watches | Standard service schedule | Gradual recommissioning |
| Written collection record | Rarely provided | Every job |
| Ability to ask questions | Customer service desk | Direct to the technician |
| Lubricant selection | Often standardised | Part-by-part selection |
What Sets Pendulora Apart
Three things we do that are less common in the repair market around Nonthaburi.
Gradual Revival Protocol
Long-stored watches are not run up immediately. We use a multi-day testing schedule that respects the condition of aged lubricants and dried seals.
Written Job Record
Every collection includes a written record of the work. This is useful for future servicing and for insurance purposes if the watch has value.
Finish-Respecting Polish
Our case refinishing follows the original surfaces rather than producing a generic shine. Brushed areas stay brushed; polished facets stay narrow and clean.
