A Workshop Built on Steadiness

Pendulora was set up to be the kind of repair shop people feel comfortable bringing a watch they actually care about.

Our Story

Pendulora opened on Rattanathibet Road in Nonthaburi after years of working inside larger service centres where turnaround speed was prioritised over careful attention. The workshop was set up with a different idea in mind: that watches deserve to be looked at properly, and that the people bringing them in deserve a straight explanation of what is happening and what it will cost.

The name comes from "pendulum" — the part of a mechanical watch movement that keeps time by swinging at a consistent rate. Steadiness and rhythm are qualities we try to bring to the work itself. There is no rushing through an assessment to get to the next job. There is no signing off on a piece without testing it properly.

We focus on three clearly described services: crown and stem repair, full service and refinish packages, and the careful recommissioning of watches that have been stored away for years. Each is priced upfront. Each involves a conversation at drop-off so you know what to expect.

The People Here

A small team with a range of backgrounds in mechanical work and customer communication.

KP

Krit Phongsuwan

Lead Technician

Has worked on mechanical movements for over fifteen years, with particular experience in vintage pieces and stored watches that need gradual recommissioning.

NJ

Nattaya Jirawong

Case & Finishing

Handles case refinishing and polishing, with a careful approach to preserving the character of original surfaces rather than producing an overly bright result.

AT

Arisa Thongchai

Customer & Operations

Manages drop-off coordination and keeps customers informed at each stage. Ensures nothing is missed between assessment, repair, and collection.

Standards We Follow

These are not aspirational statements — they describe what happens during each job at Pendulora.

Written Assessment First

Before any work begins, the watch is assessed and the findings are written up. You receive a clear summary of what was found and what the proposed work covers.

Correct Lubricants Used

Movement service uses lubricants appropriate to each part — not a single product applied throughout. Different gears, jewels, and escapements require different viscosities.

Timing Tested Before Return

After servicing, accuracy is checked on a timing machine in multiple positions. We aim for a result within accepted standards for the movement type before the watch leaves the bench.

Secure Storage While In Care

Watches are stored in a locked cabinet when not being worked on. Each piece is tagged and logged so there is no confusion between jobs.

No Work Without Approval

If the assessment reveals something outside the original scope, we pause and contact you. Work does not proceed until you confirm you are happy to go ahead.

Clear Records at Collection

At collection, you receive a written summary of the work completed, any parts replaced, and basic care guidance. This gives you a useful reference for future servicing.

Watch Repair in Nonthaburi

Pendulora sits in Bang Kraso on Rattanathibet Road — a straightforward location to reach from Nonthaburi town centre, and not far from the expressway for those coming from Bangkok. The workshop handles a range of work, from simple crown and stem replacements to full movement services and the careful revival of long-stored pieces.

People who bring watches to us are often in one of a few situations: a daily wear that has become unreliable, a family piece that deserves proper attention after years of sitting in a drawer, or a watch bought secondhand that has not been serviced in a long time. All three are familiar to us, and all three are worth taking seriously.

We are not a large facility with multiple counters and waiting numbers. We are a small workshop where the person who speaks to you at drop-off is connected to the person doing the work. That keeps things honest and keeps the communication straightforward. If something is not worth repairing at the price it would take, we will tell you that too.
